In CEL laser engraving, the laser beam is transmitted continuously across the workpiece. The line width is adapted to the thickness of the workpiece. By the use of a computer program, the position and angle of the laser beam can be electronically controlled, allowing the workpiece to move precisely and securely without the need for manual effort.
Another aspect to take into account when purchasing laser engraving machines is the lens focal length. The depth of the laser pattern projected onto the workpiece is determined by the focal length of the lens. A longer lens focal length produces finer details on the engraved metal and helps prevent the engraving from blurring.
Mixed laser cutting machine ( MLB) is a combination of a high-power, co2 laser tube as well as a fiber optic feed. The co2 laser tube with high power can create stronger and more intense light than the regular fiber optic tube, which in turn allows more precise cutting paths. Fiber optic feed allows two-way, synchronous laser communication between co2 laser tube (and the computerized CNC machine). Due to the high-power co2 laser tube, the precise patterns that are created are of higher quality than the ones produced by a conventional CNC machine. Fiber Optics and a High-power Laser Tube. Combining these two technologies yields cutting-depth that is high and output power. It also produces the finished product is almost identical to a standard CNC machine. The main difference between the CNC machine versus a MLT is the fact that the latter produces focused beams. This means that they can only operate in one direction. Since they produce an output that is focused CNC machines do not require a powerful fiber optic output. It also does not require a laser focal that is correlated. In a CNC machine, the output of the laser beam directly controls the movements of a drill , which enables the system to be more precisely controlled. however, because of the above-mentioned dependence on a correlated laser focus, the accuracy of the cut is contingent on the output power of the laser, and not upon the fiber optic feed.
A multi-mode focused cutter. A MLT is coupled with a high-power fiber optic output and a CNC laser in order to create a dual-channel, laser communication that is synchronized between the system and the CNC machine. This allows CNC machines to simultaneously program laser lengths cutting depths, lengths of cutting, and feed rates. Since these processes are all dependent on one another, and because of the complex communication between machine and CNC cutter, this combination is commonly referred to as a “quadrate” or “fiber laser auger.”
